Add link Text to display: I am unable to change the Regedit. I never even download any programs, just steam games mostly. I have run both adwcleaner and malwarebytes, it found some conflicts and I can run regedit now, I deleted the specified folder and CCleaner now works.
Use "autoruns" to remove malware that might be starting at boot. It should be fairly easy to tell what's official and what's not using that app, but don't remove entries you're not absolutely certain of.
Autoruns would have helped you identify and remove the entry that was opening a website at boot. Usually feeling like everything shown in autoruns is clean means your system is clean after a reboot, of course.
If Windows doesn't start the malware at boot, then nothing malicious is running. There are things like rootkits that can be nasty and hidden, but most malware doesn't include rootkits.
If you're concerned, Malwarebytes has a tool for those. Yeah I already used the "autoruns" tool and checked earlier, seems to be all clean. I may think about reinstalling windows 7, i was hoping to wait until windows 10 releases later this year.
